Design

  • We provide from 1 to 5 proposals

After the selection of the proposal to develop, we accept up to 3 modifications (not structural modifications). Other modifications will be charged with cost per hour on the basis of the existing listings (min. charge 30 min.)

Mock-up 1:1

  • After the approval of the design, we release internally 1 mock-up
  • The Customer approve the mock-up and the printed file for printing

Note: the mock up of boxes and particular wraps often have to be done in the factory that will produce the final products. We always specify in the quotation if the mock-up is included or not included.

Packaging realization

  • After the approval the mock-up or printing files, we can delivery the file for printing (*1) or we can follow the realization and delivery of the final products

*1: File for printing are not fully editable. Please note that if you want to receive the native files, there is a release amount to clear, which vary project to project. In order to avoid any kind of misunderstanding we suggest to ask this clarification before, in phase of design quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I give you the graphic design for the printing?

Yes, you are free to decide if you want or not use our graphic design services. Anyway, we want to see your file for printing before to accept the order, because we need to verify the files conditions. If the files are fine and ready to go, you will be able to buy only the printing services. Mock ups, printing proof, any kind of needed change on files, are all at your charge (per quotation). Attention: we accept printing order on your own design, starting from a minimum order that vary case by case.

What is the payment policy?

The execution of the project consists of 2 main steps: design and printing.
The customer is requested to pay in advance the two steps, all together (with a default discount of 5%) or in two different moment (but always in advance).
For big printing quantity (over 5,000 pcs), we can consider to receive 70% downpayment and 30% at the delivery.

What are printing files?

File for printing, are normally PDF prepared for the hi-resolution printing, following international standards.
The file for printing, normally are not editable, just printable. If the Customer buy the design from us but want to print with other suppliers, must understand that in case the printing supplier would request the editable files (native files), we could delivery them only after the payment of a release amount, which change project by project. For this reason, we always ask in the beginning of the project which kind of files the Customer want to receive.

Why the native files are not my property?

Native files are the editable files of the design project. For any graphic design project, excluding only the realization of Logo and Marks, for a creative agency or a professional, the delivery of native files is not mandatory. The Customer own the graphic layout for web or printing or whatever media channel, but not the native files, which are considered to be intellectual property of the creator. Infact, normally flyers, catalogue, brochure, graphic for web, are delivered in PDF (not editable), JPG, PNG, other format not editable.
Providing the native files, a Customer can go to any other suppliers and modify the layout.
Please note that many people think to have the native files from previous works, but they just received JPG, PNG, TIF (…).

What can I print in the packaging?

Basicly everything. Normally the artwork is realesed with Adobe Illustrator (vector format), but we can put in it pictures if needed.
The decision about what to print on the packaging, is normally taken in the beginning, deciding the style line to follow.
The expectations about printing final results influence this important choice.
We are ready to provide all the needed consulting in order to help our customers to make the right choice.

What are READY TO PRINT SETS?

In order to satify a large segment of modern market, we have created this 3 options of box sets.
Infact there are many kind of business which need a budget but hi quality solution, starting from a small order.
In the packaging sector, it is very difficult find factories that customize products starting from orders under 500pcs (but more frequently 1000 pcs). This happen for obvious reasons connected with “costs of production”. Infact for certain operations of printing and especially of finishing, realising less than 1000 pcs is only a cost of the producer.
In this years, we have been searching for a good solution, a product with hi rate quality – price, and actually we can supply this kind of request.

What happen if the delivery product is not what we have approved?

If you work with our suppliers, this is almost impossible, because we take care to go to check all the phases of production until the delivery. Before the delivery, our team take care of a deep quality control, because our reputation is really very important and we want the Customer to be totally satisfied!
If there are errors done by our factory, the factory fix it. If it is an error in our project design, created after the approval of the printing proof or mock-up, we pay the remake of the order.
If the error is done by a factory selected by the Customer, we have no responsibilities.
The approval of the printing files, is a very delicate moment: if there are errors in the file but the Customer approve it, the responsibility is 100% of Customer. We want always to give the best to our Customer, for this reason we always suggest to produce the design with enough time to do all the needed controls. Time is the King to make a great printing job!

What is the time of production?

Design: before the payment of the design estimate, we normally give a dead line for the begin of the design project. When it starts, normally in 5 working days we can delivery the previews. From our experience, we know that a good job is done in a period of 10 up to 20 working days.
When the file are almost ready for the printing, we contact the factory (if we have the assignment to delivery the final products), and we start to schedule the time of production. The time of production for the final products, can change of the basis of the project.
We normally give this informations when we have decided the finishing processes and all the details of printing.
If the Customer wants to print with other supplier, we delivery the file for printing but we do not follow up the printing realization by default.If our assistance is needed, must be requested and payed as extra performance.
